Family History and Missionary Work

New materials have been made available to full-time missionaries in the field.

    Robert Bailey says:

The new binder is an excellent tool to help us as Advisors understand the focus of using family history as a resouce to bless the lives of members of the church and invite the spirit to those who are not members. It is also an excellent source of information to support training to priesthood leaders.

  • Emily Taylor says:

It is very well thought out and presented in an easy manner to understand. It covers many areas of interest to the leaders.

  • Jean Simpson says:

Overall, favorable. There are some good suggestions for working with various groups within wards and stakes. However, it's important that the stake leaders understand the "vision" of using family history as a tool in their councils to begin with.

  • Alexandria Baxter says:

I think the binder information is pretty complete. Obviously additional conference talks and news items can be added in the future, but could easily be handled by the user. We did notice that the photo on the front cover, and on the "interview planner" page of "how to use this binder" (which are the only two photos of "area advisers" meeting with stake leaders) show only two men meeting. Since we're serving as couples, the ommission of women/couples in the photos is a glaring, obvious error in judgement. It should be corrected.

  • Alan Shae says:

The material is great. Getting an appointment with the stake president is impossible.

  • Robert Russell F. says:

It is well done and a great asset. I think it has great value in suggesting ideas and then acting as a check list.

  • izzie hammond says:

Hey, that is the best thing that you have done - so far!
