Go to a Development Plan

A development plan is a summary of an associate’s case and a record of his or her progress. It shows goals, milestones, and action steps. Go over the development plan with associates often, especially during quarterly development meetings.

To go to an associate’s development plan:

1. 1 Go to the top of the Case screen.
2. 2 Click on the print icon or Print Dev Plan button. Note: Each case should have a printable development plan unless the associate is new in the system and has not yet created a development plan.
3. 3 View the information displayed in the Development Plan window. Note that you can see the number of pages in the development plan and navigate through the pages using the arrows next to the page numbers.
4. 4 Click the arrow to the right to go to the next page (if possible).
5. 5 Click the arrow to the left to go to the previous page (if possible).
6. 6 The arrows to the outside left and right will take you to the first and last pages respectively. The information on the development plan is organized similarly to the Case screen in DECM. The development plan is populated with goals, milestones, action steps, and other information the development counselor and job coach trainer have inserted into the case. Clinical milestones and other sensitive information are not included in the development plan.
7. 7 To close the development plan, do one of the following:
   • a. Click on the “X” at the top right of the development plan.
   • b. Click File and then Close at the top left of the development plan.
