Edit a Sticky Note

At times you may want to edit a sticky note to add or clarify information.

To edit a sticky note:

  1. 1 Go to the Sticky Notes section (on the main Case screen), and find the sticky note you wish to edit.
  2. 2 Double-click either on the Description field or on the white space to the left of the Type field.
  3. 3 To change a sticky note’s type:
    • a. Hover over the Type field, and click on the search icon.
    • b. Click on Look Up More Records.
    • c. Click on the X in the search field to erase the current data.
    • d. Select the correct option by clicking to its left.
    • e. Click on Add (at the bottom of the Look Up Record screen).
  4. 4 To change a sticky note’s issue:
    • a. If the field has a search icon, hover over the Issue field, click on the search icon, and follow steps 3b-3e above.
    • b. If the field is a free text field that allows you to type in notes, click on the field, type in your notes, and click outside the field when you are finished.
  5. 5 To change the date:
    • a. Click on the Date field.
    • b. Click on the calendar icon.
    • c. Click on the correct date.
  6. 6 To edit the Description field:
    • a. Click on the Description field.
    • b. Edit your notes.
  7. 7 Click on the save icon at the bottom right of the screen to save any changes made to the sticky note.
  8. 8 Go back to the main Case screen by doing one of the following:
    • a. Click on the browser’s back icon.
    • b. Click on the case’s name at the top of the Sticky Notes window.
