Identify Important Icons

There are important icons that appear throughout an associate’s case. Pay attention to and recall the meaning of these icons as you view and edit information in DECM.

Lock:

A lock indicates that you cannot edit this information. The information you can edit is based on your role.

Typically these fields will be filled in on a different screen and will be automatically populated in the section of the case that you are viewing.

Red asterisk:

A red asterisk indicates required information.

Blue plus sign:

A blue plus sign indicates that the field needs to be completed in order to advance the case.

Key icon:

A key indicates that only individuals with a certain role can add that information.

Blue save icon:

Whenever you make a change to a case, click on the blue save icon at the bottom right of the screen to save that change.
